Summers begun but it doesnt feel like summer. I only saw two of my friends on one day since school got over. I need to see them more often or I'll be insane(r) real soon.

I miss the days when I used to count the days to summer and then on the last day of school, come home and set up a doll house or a fortress with spare mattresses and play with them until I couldnt keep my eyes open. I miss that innocence. I miss how summers used to be happy, not depressing like now.

I've been crocheting to keep my mind off things, to stop myself from feeling lonely, to keep myself busy. I'm making a Cinderella doll for my cousin who turned 8 the day before yesterday. I see myself in her - she is as fascinated with princesses and Barbie dolls as I was ten years ago. The doll looks really promising right now. I can't wait for it to be completed.

Right now I'm also not feeling well. I've got a really awful cold and my eyes sting if I look at the computer screen for too long =/
